Established in 1955, Evergreen Elementary is an educational institution that is located in San Jose, Calif. The school is a part of the Evergreen School District. It enrolls students in kindergarten through grade six. The school provides general academic and gifted and talented education programs. It also offers the English Language Learners program. Evergreen Elementary s staff includes speech therapists, resource aides, psychologists, librarians and nurses. Evergreen Elementary operates a parent-teacher association that conducts several fundraising activities. The school organizes events, such as Halloween parades, harvest festivals, and science and movie nights. In addition, Evergreen Elementary publishes a newsletter that carries updates on educational and social events.
