Hi I have been a researcher in a large clhidren's charity for nearly 6 years. As part of my work with the charity I produced a large study on child abuse. The charity's chief executive did not like the findings and tried to sit on them. Under pressure from external researchers the findings were released with some compromise on my part but not to the extent that the integrity and truthfulness were affected. The research produced a large dataset and the intention had been to complete follow up work based on this. However the CEO has taken revenge on me and the research team and is to make us all redundant. I have found out he intends to commission other researchers to do the follow on research. Is this ethical?
