Provided by YP.comScomas is one of the best for seafood in San Francisco. You will almost definitely wait for a table, but it is worth it. The waiters/waitresses are very knowledgeable and will help you make a good choice. This is a pricey restaurant, but it's worth it for a special occasion or vacation. Enjoy!
Extremely happy with staff friendliness, food was fantastic and out of the way of most tourist
- General Info
- Scoma's, located perfectly on the San Francisco Bay, is one of the most iconic restaurants in the city, having opened in 1965. Since then, the restaurant has provided the freshest, most sustainable and delicious local seafood to locals and visitors alike. Priding itself on its "Pier To Plate" menu, Scoma's owners, chefs and management pride themselves on their deep relationships with the local fishing community where they source most of their seafood. Guests can even watch the fishing boats pull up to the restaurant's own fish receiving station and get a glimpse of that day's catch before it is artfully served on their plate. Scoma's also offers a full bar with a fantastic craft cocktail program and an extensive local beer award-winning wine list for those looking to relax and imbibe while watching the sun set over the water.
