I can't believe I can found my favorite novel here for a lesser price. It made me so happy.

A great little bookstore where the staff are really knowledgeable about Buddhism, Zen and the books they have for sale. Check It out one Saturday morning after taking the free Introduction to Meditation class or attending the 10am Dharma talk. It's located inside a beautiful Jullia Morgan designed building with a quiet courtyard and monthly arts shows. I visited a lot of churches and meditation centers looking for a a place to explore and deepen my spiritually. Once I really made the commitment to show up and have a spiritual practice, I was able to find a real community of support at Zen Center. The people I've met have been kind, patient, and not too serious about themselves. Each Saturday a different teacher leads the 8:30 am meditation instruction and each time its different so you can go back more than once and get a different perspective.
