Excellent place to stay if you're on a budget or new to the area. The RAs and other tenants are very friendly and helpful. The common area is a great place to study or socialize and the kitchen is nice and spacious with two stoves. There is a maid that cleans the restrooms, kitchen and common area every morning. Overall a great atmosphere and place to stay.

I've been living in 1080 Folsom for the last six months, and have loved every minute of it. It's super clean, super safe, and super affordable. It is a beautiful building, with a really cool common area and super social atmosphere. I've made a ton of friends in the building! It's a super location- right by a grocery store, the super fun and young Mission area, Market Street, a ton of shopping, and a BART station! This is one of the best deals for living in SF, and it is such a wonderful atmosphere as well. Can't recommend enough.

I am currently living here while going to a coding boot camp, and the environment is perfect. This place has basically everything you need for temporary living, plus almost everyone is in a tech field themselves. I would recommend this place to anyone!

I am a student from the UK doing a year long placement at UCSF and needed affordable accommodation for this time. When looking on the UCSF website for housing advice, Latitude 38 was one of the first options to come up and I was able to get a room almost straight away. One of the biggest reasons that I chose my residence of 1080 Folsom is that it said it prides itself on its sense of community and seeing as I would know no-one arriving in the US, this was very attractive to me in order to meet people and I would agree that the people in 1080 Folsom are the best thing about it. The RAs were also very helpful when I was arriving an moving in especially considering that I moved in in the early hours of the morning due to plane delays. The location is also perfect for me as it gives me the perfect base to explore the city and is also only a short cycle ride away from Mission bay where I commute to every day.

I chose this residence because of the convenience to grocery shopping, apparel stores and downtown. I loved getting to know people from all over the world and the RAs that instantly resolved any issues and concerns I had. I liked the open kitchen area and social area.
The online portal was especially helpful. I liked the cleaning services and the intimate atmosphere.

really nice people, great location, no trouble with management. laundry and dryer on site. if you're going to a bootcamp near by this is a good spot for the price in this area!
