ESA is a multidisciplinary consulting firm with experience in all aspects of project planning, environmental assessment, natural resource management and regulatory compliance. Established in 1969, it has multiple offices throughout the United States, and its head office in San Francisco, and grown to offer a wide range of planning, management, documentation and analytical services. Its staff of scientists, planners and other experts, assist clients, who range from government agencies and nonprofit organizations, to private industry. It offers services, such as project planning and feasibility, federal and state environmental compliance, and regulatory permitting and compliance monitoring. ESA also provides technical and scientific studies, natural resources management, and public outreach and facilitation.
