Founded in early 1970s, On Lok Inc. is a not-for-profit organization serving the needs of senior citizens. Located in San Francisco, Calif., it serves residents of San Francisco, Fremont, Newark and Union City. The organization offers an array of services, including On Lok Lifeways, a certified PACE program designed to provide total long-term care for the elderly. Its health plans include full medical care, prescription drugs, home care, adult day wellness and transportation. In addition, On Lok Lifeways allows members to enjoy the comforts of home and family, for as long as possible inclusive of the medical and personal care assistance.
