Took my load to the warehouse where it was fitted into 3 pallet loads. arrived to my house 3 weeks later, on tome by Big Rod. I paid exactly what I was quoted. I recently had to ship an antique dining room set from Ft. Myers, Fla to North Carolina from a private residence.I was worried about who to call for such a small shipment and getting the item back home safely. When my husband and I decided we were moving from Northern California to Southern California, we did not think twice about it and hired ShipSmart. We had used them before for a move and they provided excellent service, great pricing and prompt delivery. They again provided the same high quality of service to us on our move from Truckee mountains to Oxnard beaches. It was great to not have to worry about the moving aspect when you are in the escrow and trying to purchase another home. Excellent communication and customer service. We had to ship one old family heirloom across the midwest. They came when they said they were going to come. Communicated the day the item would be delivered, the day before provided a one hour window and showed up exactly on time. The crew were very friendly and helpful. I had a great experience with Ship Smart in a recent move from Dallas to New York City. The people at the office were friendly and patient and always professional, even when I called their office with endless questions and sent nonstop e-mails. The movers in Dallas were careful and professional and managed to pack up my stuff and my sister's stuff in spite of the 5 women getting in their way. My shipment arrived early and in perfect shape, and the movers at the New York City end were just as professional and helpful, even unpacking an especially big box because they insisted 'it was too heavy for me.' Every aspect of our experience with Ship Smart exceeded our expectations. The task was to move our personal belongings from Atlanta, GA to Palm Springs, CA. The process started with professional, clear, and consistent communication with our consultants. The quote we received was fair and accurate.
