She has: obtained defense verdicts in trials of real estate disputes and product liability claims; defended employment discrimination, eminent domain, insurance coverage, construction defect and mass toxic tort claims; prosecuted commercial unlawful detainers, obtained a stipulated judgment settling complex real property claims and had receivers appointed over real property; defended Fair Credit Reporting Act and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act complaints; prosecuted administrative wage garnishment actions; and enforced state and federal judgments.

- BankruptcyMiriam is a trial lawyer who represents businesses and individuals in state and federal district courts in commercial, business and bankruptcy litigation. Her appellate advocacy includes arguments to the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the United States Bankruptcy Appellate Panel of the Ninth Circuit. Her courtroom work has generated numerous reported opinions and she has lectured on various bankruptcy and commercial topics, most recently to the San Francisco and Contra Costa Bar Association bankruptcy sections. She is also a 2013-2016 member of the Bench-Bar Liaison Committee for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of California.
