Founded in 1978, Instituto Familiar de la Raza is a nonprofit agency that promotes the health and wellness of Latin American, Spanish and multicultural youth throughout the United States. It offers a range of mental health, HIV-related and social services that include health promotion and prevention, early intervention, case management, clinical mentoring, family support and comprehensive behavioral health services. Instituto Familiar de la Raza serves more than 4,000 clients that include various children, youth, adults, families and caretakers. Its programs include clinical mentoring, la cultura cura youth and early intervention.
