      The Grossmann Design Group was established in 1984 by the Principal and Owner, John P. Grossmann. The firm has provided architectural and planning services since its inception. The staff of the firm is small and have been working together for more than 15 years, providing architectural services to several small and large public facility projects, multi-residential projects and municipal governments that require strong technical expertise and project administrative skills. The type of projects have been varied but each project has received the attention of the principal and has been executed in accordance with his high standards. The firms project experience includes providing design services for the renovation of fire stations, libraries, civic centers, community and senior centers, and a variety of different types of roofs. Practice areas include: The services the Grossmann Design Group provides are different from other firms in the depth of detailed programming and technical research that is undertaken for each specific project. This has set our work apart from other design firms. The design methodology of the Grossmann Design Group has focused on developing solutions that meet the client's functional requirements, and seeking forms within the context of the existing specific project surroundings. The intent of the design work of the Grossmann Design Group is focused on developing buildings that meet the operational needs of the users and that are well built. The firm develops extremely detailed design drawings to ensure that the potential for change orders is minimized and that the contractor has specific direction regarding the assemblies and systems that are to be incorporated into the building. The Grossmann Design Group will prove that creative design, sensitivity to the environment, adherence to schedule and an understanding of project economics will produce a successful facility.
