She did a really bad job on my eyebrows and my friend's eyebrows. She was kind of crotchedy and the place is a dingy hole in the wall.

Also, I went to see her for positive reviews, but in looking through these again, it appears that people with only one review write most of these, meaning she is probably writing her own positive reviews.

I have been going to Felicia for about a year now for facials and they are always wonderful. The location is on the quiet part of Chestnut Street so it has a very neighborhood""y"" feel with high quality service. Also, I have very sensistive skin and her products are always top notch and I've never had a reaction. My skin glows and feels nourished. There are few that I know of that have the skilled hands she has and she removes blackheads (yes yuck but someones gotta do it). I'm ususally so relaxed that I'm afraid I'm gonna snore. Felicia is also really great at making you feel welcomed and relax, it's such a treat and escape.

I received a great facial from Felicia, but best of all was the job she did on my brows. They looked amazing! She's just fantastic.

Felicia is so nice. The salon is cute, nothing fancy, but she made me feel so relaxed during my embarassing waxing appt. She had me laughing the whole time and did a great job. She's also much much faster than the other people I have gone to for waxing. Overall a very pleasant experience.

This place is not a spa. It is a very small shop. kind of shabby too. the facial was o.k. nothing special.

I have been to just about every spa in this city but have found my home at Janis's. Liz is the most personable and professional of anyone. She is a perfectionist in her work, never makes you feel rushed or that ""double booked' feeling you get from other spas. She makes you feel comfortable while she is intense at her job. (best eyebrow waxing in town, not to mention perfect waxing job overall) She is one of the warmest and sweetest person I have found in this profession, it's better than therapy and CHEAPER!!!!

I went in for the first time last night because of the reviews on citysearch. I got a full leg and bikini wax!!! Let me tell you...Felicia is AWESOME!!!!! I called to make a last minute appointment and they were booked until the following week. Felicia must have heard the desperation in my voice and accommodated me after hours (8pm)!! I know that spas will accommodate their regulars but to do it for a new customer is a rare find. I look forward to trying all the other services they offer!! Janis Chakler Skin Care is such a cute and amazing place. I had a facial here and it was one of the best that I've ever had. Great extractions, not red, and my face looked amazing. I never had a facial where I could go out directly from the treatment. They should clone the people here. They are amazing and very knowledgeable about the skin and products. What a great find, I will definately return.

I have very sensitive skin, and the treatment that Felicia gave me was amazing. It was with seaweed and this wonderful smelling potion she mixed. My skin looked radiant for days. I will refer everyone here. So cute and quaint, not overwhelming. Great recommendation city search.

Well I've been all over searching for the perfect brazilian and I found it an Janis Chakler Skin Care. Felicia is the best. Hardly any pain and it was not bumpy and red like most places. She is very thorough and makes you feel very at ease. I loved this place.
