Provided by YP.comI am a landlord that has the mechanical ability to do a great amount of my own work and understand all of the plumbing, electrical and roofing. I have gotten to the level that I don't and hire others. I think that the previous rating is bogus. I don't care if it takes 5 minutes or 1 hour. As long as they know what they are doing and get it right the first time I am happy. They are not a None Profit. Their expenses continue as long as they do their work and there has to be a minimum. I had a control board go out in a boiler in an apartment building on a Saturday and called them, they were out in 1 1/2 hours, diagnosed the problem went to their shop picked up a new one and the total bill for after hours and parts was $500. In my world that was cheap. The previous rating says that the charge for certifying the back flow protector was too expensive because it only took 5 minutes. Nobody charges by the hour for this work, they charge a fixed rate for it like everyone. Some people want everything for free and that is not realistic. Don't complain if you can't do the work.

Provided by YP.comThese guys pray upon people with boilers in San Francisco. They send guys out for 5 mintues and charge you $135 for 1 hour. These guys are ready to run away and always in a hurry. The company is full of disgruntled angry employees, and get this, every year, SF requires a test of your system. They might come for 2 minutes, push a valve, then charge you $135. The work they do is hit and miss because they have a war between department in their own company. Go somewhere else. Oh yeah, you can't because they are a monopoly in San Francisco. Just be warned and ask lots of questions and get your hours worth of time.
