      Steve Bauer has been a custom finishing force in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1985. Doing business as Baumar, Steve has worked with numerous designers, architects, cabinet-makers, and contractors, and has created beautiful custom finishes for hundreds of homes and commercial businesses, including many of San Francisco's finest (and legendary) restaurants. Finishes include lacquers, stains, aniline dyes, clear coats, wall glazing, faux finishes, gilding, cracked linen, distressed finishes, even retro finishes like Zolatone and metal flake!
