Alliance Francaise de San Francisco is the official center of French language and culture in San Francisco. It is one of 1,085 Alliances that have been established in 138 countries around the world. The center teaches French through tailor-made private lessons and small classes to more than 1,500 students every year. The center is stocked with 20,000 books, French magazines and newspapers. The center also has more than 500 subtitled and non-subtitled French films. It offers beginner to advanced and specialized courses for French language. The center also organizes cultural events that showcase weekly films, monthly art exhibits and concerts.
