The Old El Paso County Jail Museum is located in the San Elizario Historic District. The interpretive heritage museum features various exhibits relative to the specific aspect of the Texas State Historic Site. The San Elizario Genealogy and Historical Society operates the museum and it is open daily, Tuesday through Sunday. The museum is staffed by knowledgeable volunteers. "Billy the Kid Breakout Shows" presented by Los Pistoleros de San Elizario, old west reenactors.
