Great selection of product! I was looking all over for a particular brand of dog food and found it here. Even found varieties I didn't know the company made.

This place sucks big-time i bought a puppy from Them They told me the puppy had a parasite Called Giardia but it was being treated My vet told me it did not have Giardia sense we had sent sample and it was negative for that But it did have a contagious parasite I informed Deanna She then told me all the puppies in the store had Distemper And her vet had advised that she not have any more animals in the store for at least two weeks Three days later she had more puppies This is a woman who is worse than people who run puppy mills I was lied to twice by Deanna and also you Yolanda I got smart sent people there to the store like we were customers for puppies and she lied to them to know that I have witnesses I intend to sue Thank you San Dimas For ruining Our families Christmas Since these owners owned it It has never been the same I know I have lived here 35 years and my son worked there for many years
If your looking for compassionate and humane people who provide excellent customer service san dimas grain is definitely NOT the place to go. I had a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE to say the least! I had bought a rescue kitten there a few months back, there was nothing wrong with it. well that was until I went back to get it neutered there. I had dropped off the kitten the night before, they had put it in a cage by itself in the back. When I returned the following day I found my cat in the display window mixed in with 10 other rescue kittens. The owner had mistakenly placed it there. Shortly after my kitten became gravely ill. He was vomiting, had diarrhea, wouldn't eat or drink anything, goopy eyes, sneezing ect... I had to immediately take him to a vet and when I called to complain the owner was extremely rude. She refused to take any accountability for her actions, she even mocked me and hung up on me. Is that what you call quality customer service? I was appalled and couldn't believe the things she was saying. It only further added insult to injury. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. They are a poor excuse for a pet shop and if your looking to buy an animal I would suggest looking elsewhere, its obvious that their animals are unhealthy and they are not taking proper care of them.
It's a feed and grain store so there's hay or straw always on the floor in the back where the bales are. The employees are courteous, and fairly knowledgeable. They really try to help you. Their prices are competitive and if you need, they'll deliver your order. I have to drive quite a distance to get to it but it's nearest to my house. I bought a roomy 4' W x 6'L x 4'H hen house complete with 3 large nest holes with a back door for egg collecting which I didn't have to assemble - I didn't like that a lot of the construction was particle board but it was already complete and they delivered it. It was pricey compared to DIY prefabricated houses on the internet stores, but then I didn't have to assemble it myself and my 3 pet hens seem happy in it. Each nest box is so big 2 chickens can use one box if they want to be cozy warm. I saw all 3 of them in one box at night! The door is plenty wide enough to let us fit inside to change the water and feed troughs. A big loose German Shepherd tried to get to my pets but the cage withstood his attacks (per our neighbor who witnessed it while we were gone) so I can vouch for the predator-safe construction. We immediately set up a second fence barrier to keep us safe from any other loose animals of irresponsible pet owners.
staff is extremely friendly and helpfull. prices are decent and reasonable. the variety of products is good for a store nestled in downtown san dimas. overall a great store for animal feed and supplies. i only wish they posted their hours online.
I've been shopping here since 1979. They have changed owners a few times, but they are always friendly, and very helpful. If they don't have it, they will help you find it. They carry several products for several animals from birds to horses and so many critters more!
