Dr. Susan Little is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases with a research interest in HIV infection. Dr. Little works at the UC San Diego Antiviral Research Center and conducts clinical translational research trials which focus on increasing our understanding of the pathogenesis of acute or primary HIV infection and HIV transmission. Dr. Little works with a large international collaborative team to assess viral replication dynamics and host immune dynamics during acute HIV infection.
