Stoked Surf School teaches all ages and ability levels. Young and old are welcome to attend. The only requirement is the desire to learn. Our staff of experienced and qualified surf instructors has been teaching surfing in Mission Beach since May of 2002. Our goal in sruf school is to teach you how to surf using our ?proven to work? techniques that are guaranteed to get you stoked on surfing! We have a huge selection of surfing rentals in Mission Beach. Everything you can imagine and more. Stoked Surf carries high performance short boards, fishes, long boards, and soft boards. With our friendly and experienced costomer service we promise you'll be stoked with your surfing rental.

Surfing is a huge part of our identity here on the west coast and were proud to have some of the best beaches for it right here in San Diego. Since the 1960s people have been learning that surfing really is one of the best ways to get out there and enjoy the water. If your kids always wanted to learn how to surf or maybe you yourself have always wanted to give it a try; there are plenty of ways to get into the water but by far the best is to learn from someone who really knows what theyre doing. Thats why there is Surfari in Mission Beach; family owned and operated there is no better surf school in the area. All ages are welcome at Surfari and most clients are up and riding by their third wave. Put best by owner Rick Gehris The only requirement is the desire to learn; if you can walk you can surf. Maybe youre just visiting and you want to go back home knowing you gave our lifestyle the full go. Surfari has everything available to rent that you need to get in the water.
Amazing, awesome, the most fun my daughter and I have ever had. This was not only the best part of our vacation, but we had so much fun, our friends and my husband want to try it next time we get to CA. My family is wanting to move to CA now so we can continue to surf.
Our instructor was sooooo patient, really fun, and helped us alot. He was the best! I cannot wait to get back and take some more lessons!
Lessons include use of a surfboard, wetsuit and 1.5 hours of surf instruction. After the lesson, students may practice what they learned for another hour. Surfari is run by surfers who have backgrounds as lifeguards. Fun is the goal, but safety is the top concern! Surfari is located inside a surf shop with bathrooms, changerooms, lockers and a place to rinse off after the lesson. In my opinion, Surfari is the best surf school in town! Why? Because the know how to take care of their customers. The whole experience was simple and easy. We parked at the Santa Clara public lot two blocks away from their store. Then we walked to their shop and signed up for the best surf lesson ever. I felt very comfortable with Surfari because they made me feel at home. My valuables were safe and secure in their lockers and I had a place to change in the restroom. The instructors were freindly and patient. The lesson included use of a surfboard, wetsuit and 1.5 hours of surf instruction. After the lesson, we were able to practice on our own for another hour. The best part is their store is only 50 yards from the beach so after the lesson, we were able to rinse off with the hose behind their shop. Davo was our instructor and he was down to earth friendly and helpful. The techniques he taught us worked wonders as I was surfing on my own by the end of the lesson.
