- Dental CareEffective professional dental care in animals requires general anesthesia. When the proper precautions and protocols are followed, anesthesia is very safe.
- VaccinationVaccinations: The most effective way to prevent certain life-threatening contagious diseases is to vaccinate. We create individualized protocols based upon the risk factors unique to each pet. We recommend only "core" vaccines and actively employ strategies to reduce the number and frequency of vaccines. By eliminating inessential vaccines and avoiding excessive re-vaccination, we can protect our patients against serious diseases, while minimizing the chance of adverse reactions.
- Veterinary OphthalmologyMedical: Our doctors have extensive experience in the various subdisciplines of medicine, including allergy, cardiology, dermatology, internal medicine, neurology, ophthalmology, and more.
- Comprehensive ExaminationExaminations: All health care begins with a comprehensive physical examination and consultation. The doctor will obtain a history, perform a thorough examination, and discuss the physical findings and recommendations. A complete physical exam is an essential part of veterinary care. Young, healthy pets should be examined at least once a year. Older pets, or those with on-going medical problems, require more frequent check-ups.
