San Diego Center for the Blind is a nonprofit corporation serving adults with blindness or vision impairment. Located in San Diego, Calif., it offers a wide range of programs in the categories of individual/group/family counseling, activities of daily living, kitchen skills, typing, Braille, resource information for the blind, outreach, low vision, sensory awareness and more. In addition, the center provides services, such as diabetic education, assistive technology evaluation/training, job development/placement, information/referral and public information/education, among others.
