I was just arriving home from the store and saw a very young (between 2 and 3 year old) boy walking from the house of this day care. I pulled over to watch to see if someone was following him or was going to retireve him, but no one did. I finally turned my car around because he was quickly approaching an extremely busy road (Beyer Blvd.). I carefully approached the firghtened boy calling out for his mother to bring him back. The door was wide open, I could hear crying children inside the house and it took 3 rings of the door bell to get a response from the woman. She couldn't have cared less. "Why did you leave?" she said to him with very little concern for where he had been. She had no idea he had even left!! As a mother, this terrifies me! I tried calling SDPD, but apparently they are closed today, I will try again tomorrow. This is completely unacceptable! It is hard for me not to just wait out side her house to keep watch because she certainly is not.
