I ate here as a child when Truman was President. Moved many times since and always wanted to return. Maybe someday soon.

This is amazing pizza in the La Jolla area. They have been open forever and have the best pizza in and local flair in town! I highly recommend anyone in the area that feels like eating some great pizza go here.

I have been eating Pernicanos pizza since I was a boy in the early 1960's. It is the best thin crust you will find in La Jolla or maybe even California. There is an original Gondola inside the restaurant that kids or adults like me can eat in. George Pernicano still plays the piano like he did when I was young.
