Paul is awesome! My wife and I were undecided on using a DJ for budgetary reasons. We found a couple of listings online, and Paul was the first we met with because of his rates. I knew from the initial meeting that he was our guy. He made it clear that his approach was to make the event as smooth and enjoyable for everyone. He followed our desired format/song selections to a T and went above and beyond by explaining ahead of time the time frame and process and introducing himself to those giving toasts, dancing - mom, dad, best man, etc. With Paul you get the best DJ at the best rate. He could justifiably charge much more, but he is truly invested in making the reception experience memorable for everyone and takes the most pride in top notch customer service. Choosing vendors can be a long, difficult process, so save yourself a lot of time and headache by making ther right choice for your DJ. Hire Paul. Period.

Paul was amazing! He did everything we asked for and more. All of our guests were up and dancing right off the bat and it lasted ALL evening. There was not even one bad song! His song selection was perfect for us! Paul took a lot of time getting to know us and meeting our every request. He was willing to meet with us a second time to go over all of his services again with my dad. He then met with us a third time to go over the reception and our off the wall requests. He was willing to burn music from a CD I had for our grand entrance. He went home that night practiced and called me the next morning to tell me it was all going to be perfect! Hands down an amazing DJ...and an incredible deal! I was a little nervous about the fact that he was so inexpensive compared to other DJs, but he proved to me that money does not equal quality.

Talk about truth in advertising! When first delving into the abyss of wedding vendors, Paul caught our eye with his very competitive price. To be honest, we had a big wedding to plan and not such a big budget so we took a closer look. After nothing but great reviews and a surprisingly upbeat initial conversation, he was our guy. I have heard nothing but excellent stories and hugely positive experiences from the reception and I have to attribute the upbeat attitude and overall fun to Paul. Not only did he have seamless transitions through the different stages of the night, he was responsive to the crowd and made sure everybody was involved and having fun through the different events. Through all this, he wasn't just a statue in the background, he was dancing along and getting down both behind his gear and on the dance floor when appropriate. I can safely say he is the best DJ I've seen in action, regardless of the type of event, and would highly recommend him for any occasion!

Hiring Paul to be the DJ for our wedding was one of the BEST choices we made in the whole planning process! From our first phone call to him, where he immediately told us his availability and UNBELIEVABLE rates, to our first meeting with him, we were SO IMPRESSED! He is SUCH a CLASS ACT and knows exactly what he is doing!! As a matter of fact, we gave him a rundown of how we envisioned the ceremony going, with music, etc...and he was able to adapt to changes ON THE FLY! We did a sand unity ceremony that took A LONG time (unexpectedly)! He jumped right to, so no one had any idea it wasn't planned, and played our wedding song. The ceremony was flawless! And, he was BRILLIANT! He also handled playing a video we made to show all of our guests before the ceremony got started. Then, at the reception, he ran the whole party perfectly! We just used DJ Paul Peterson for a 25th Anniversary celebration. He was excellent. You never know what to exactly expect when you find someone on-line, but we were pleasantly surprised with Paul. He not only was a good Dj but he did a good job at handling all the business proceedings; like answering my phone/return emails and pre-event consultations (he met us for lunch to go over all the details!) in a timely and professional manner. We had a list of songs we specifically wanted and a photo montage to be played and DJ Paul went above and beyond with meeting our needs and being helpful. He was also very respectful and professional, no matter what our requests were. We loved him so much that we're having him DJ our sons graduation party in June!! Paul Peterson is a TOP NOTCH DJ in San Diego!!!!! We used his High Energy service for our daughter's wedding and reception on Dec. 28, 2007 at the Bahia Resort Hotel. He was amazing. We used his fantastic sound system during the wedding. He was prompt, organized, and very efficient. He did an outstanding job at the reception, as well!!! He kept the reception organized and flowing smoothly. We were able to leave it all in his hands... so we were able to relax and fully enjoy the reception, with absolutely no worries.
