My eating companion and I ate here after a spur of the moment decision for sushi. It is located off a main road in Old Town SD. Overall experience: The restaurant is the new modern sushi decor. Mike was our sushi chef. He was polite, funny and engaging. The food was great. We ordered regular rolls (1), hand rolls (1), and some veggie tempura (1).. All good. The rolls were very large. Things I would change: no happy hour. Price: $40 + tip (2 adults) Would I visit again: Yes!!

With an amazing staff, hip look, and awesome music it isn't hard to see why Harney's hets so much business. The food can be a little pricey but the atmosphere makes up for it. I recommend this for all kinds of occasions, except first dates. The music can get pretty loud unless your outside, and when you're outside sometimes people complain. But what do I know, all my dates there ended spectacular.
