After three years of membership, it was apparent that the majoority of members have just reconciled themselves to the terrible service and pricing offered by the Pro Shop. Guess they make enough money on the teens classes, etc. that true customer service isn't a concern. Stay away!!

Horrible customer service from the pro shop! What the Balboa Tennis Club doesn't tell you is that the pro shop is completely separate and independt from the Tennis Club itself. So, the pro shop doesn't answer to anyone and can do you anything to you, including turn you away for no good reason! Stay away from the Balboa Tennis Club. Plenty of other friendlier tennis clubs in San Diego.
