I've been there once during my visit to San Diego and I must say that my experience with Mrs.Lee Yan (hope I spelled that right) was wonderful. Even though I had an appointment for a haircut only, I had to highlight my hair too after all the confidence I saw in her, doing her job. First, she's honest. She clearly explained me why a very short hair cut won't work for me based on my hair type and face shape. I've always hated a stylist who just does what you ask her to do without giving her advice when she thinks that things will turn out bad. Second, as I mentioned even though my appointment was for cut only, when I asked her for a highlight, she was super sweet and made her best to finish quickly yet still maintaining her proficiency to have my hair colored. Third, it was easy to set an appointment. She gave me her cellphone number in case I wanted to change time or cancel (I love flexibility). Finally the price is reasonable and cuts turned out great!
