Awesome place great food and fantastic service
Took my mom there for a nice sunset dinner prime rib treat. It was delicious! And, the chef made us fabulous creamed corn as a courtesy. Great wait staff and wondeful ambiance!
The 94th Aero Squadron is a charming setting for a meal. Unfortunately, the food is something that a downed aviator from that squadron being held captive by the enemy might find on his plate. I asked for the shrimp and scallops served with linguini. The shrimp was okay; the scallops were soft and mushy and the linguini wasn't linguini. Instead of linguini, I was served thin spaghetti that had congealed into something resembling a large dumpling. The strands of pasta were stuck together in some kind of death-embrace. It was inedible, so after two or three bites I stopped trying to eat it. The service was agonizingly slow. It was forty or more minutes before orders were taken for our table of four. My suggestion is this: Go to the 94th Aero Squadron some day. Look around you; it's a neat place. Then go find a someplace else to eat.
The food is good and the atmosphere is unique. You feel like you are in France in WWII timeframe. It is so charming; and the service is good. It's great for kids to listen with earphones to the tower talking with planes as they're taking off and landing.
weekends get crowded, but still food is good and service on a regular weekday is fast
