Its patented Food and Drug Administration-cleared proton beam therapy system, the Conforma 3000, leads the industry in patient throughput. As many as 170 patients per day use the system, which treats patients in 10-minute intervals. The company s technology has been used to treat more than 90 percent of all proton beam patients in a clinical setting in the United States and has one of the largest varieties of treatments and operational reliability and safety of any proton beam treatment center in the world. Its advances in image guidance proton therapy and FDA-cleared intensity modulated proton therapy systems double the capacity for patient treatments each day.
