The work that they did was very good and the viper is very quiet, which I love!!! Overall I love the whole look of my new garage door and the opener, it's very easy to use and safe... the guy who installed it went over a check list to let me know how everything works and it's safety features, I have a little boy and another one on the way, so Safety is a big issue... We ordered these dual paned w/insulation garage doors. They look great and have a life time warranty. The gentlemen installing, Daniel and Jeffrey were exceptionally nice and thorough. This review represents a second trip out to my home to address a minor problem I had with the first install done by OnTrac. The first installer had installed the overhead wireless remote controlled light unit in a way that stretched the power chord too much. I emailed my salesperson, Ron. He immediately replied, even though it was after normal business hours. He contacted the office and they immediately scheduled another person to come out and fix the problem. The email from the office was in my email inbox before 8:00am the following morning, and one of the gals in the office called me right at 8:00am to ensure I got the message. The installer who came out to fix the problem was courteous and knowledgeable. He fixed the problem in a few minutes. We chatted a bit during which time I learned that he has been with the company for 18 years. I believe that's the sign of a well-run company. And my experience is the same. I had a LiftMaster 3800 DC jack shaft garage door opener installed by OnTrac Garage Doors in March 2012. Also, new door tracks were installed. I am a repeat customer with this company. Thus I called the company directly instead of starting at COSTCO as I already had their contact information. The office staff is friendly and courteous. For this service, my salesman was Ron. He was pleasant to deal with. He was on time for his initial appointment during which he evaluated the job site, took measurements and explained options. He then scheduled the installation. The day of the installation, the installer was on time. He proceeded to install the opener in a timely manner. The motor works fine. He also adjusted the door, which was not installed properly by someone else (existing when I bought the house). Overall, the job was done well. I do have some minor grievances. Overall I had a great experience with On Trac Garage Door. The intial call was for service of an old garage door opener and after examining all of my options it was obvious that I should replace it. The service rep was very knowledgeable with available products, which helped me make my decision easy. I chose an opener that is super quite, more horsepower and so far more reliable than my old one.
