It seemed like a nice place to live but really, it was a nightmare. I lived in Acacia over 10 months and the pricing is ridiculously HIGH!! My unit was robbed once, no one showed any concerns and even my neighbors all experienced it one time or another. The staff there can be friendly but can come off as FAKE!! I barely got back $200 from my $800 deposit. They marked me down for one easily water mark on the mirror that could've been easily wiped away and then on top of that a cleaning charge.. The business here is PATHETIC... they really don't care about their residents.. I found BETTER and CHEAPER down the street!
I have resided in this community three times and each time the experience gets better. The only community I would consider in San Bernardino! Maintenance staff over the past couple of years has been the BEST! It is nice to live in a community were the manager cares deeply, and personally handles extreeme issues promptly. Had a roof leak that was real bad, They took care of it as fast as they could and their worry was more than mine!
Stay Away!! Acacia Park has very high incidents of property crime. I know, I lived there for seven months and was robbed five times. My garage was broken into twice, and my car was broken into twice, and then, it was stolen! I had to break my lease to get out of there. Don't let the "gated" fool you - the man door is always unlocked, and there is no attempt made to keep cars out that don't belong to residents. Don't let the "security patrol" fool you either, they are there to enforce parking regulations only. There are better, safer places to live for the same money or cheaper.
acacia wasn't what i thought it would be. from the day my roommate and i began renting we had problems. first the dryer, toilet, then parking, not to mention that my vehicle got broken into twice. whenever i had a problem maintenance would come and check on a repair, in response to only say that nothing was wrong with my dryer or water faucet leaking water. we also got a note on our door threatening the rights to our garage would be taken away due to having our personal belongings and using our garage as a storage. when in reality we barely even parked in there let alone our personal items. my roommate and i were really surprised and disappointed by the outcome during our vacancy at acacia. i also had a bad experience when i asked for my deposit to be reimbursed at the end of our lease.instead i was issued a balance of 5$ owed for maintenance fees. i was raged, and felt it was unfair we were treated this badly. aftr 3mths, we were reimbursed due to the fact i was able to show proof
