We moved into a beautifully spacious 2 bedroom 2 bathroom. The cabinets and appliances are damaged and outdated, but the floorplan is amazing. We moved in, recleaned the kitchen and restrooms thoroughly, as they weren't well prepared for a new tenant, and made the best of our new home/community. When we would visit the office, the staff was always friendly, helpful, and thoughtful. We had a bad experience once when we went in, around the month of April. Before leaving the office we prepared a coffee to go and somehow ended up with a small live roach floating around before taking a sip. Since the incident we dont indulge in the complimentary coffee or sweets, but dealing with the staff was always a pleasant experience. About 3 months ago our A/C had been struggling to cool the apartment. We have made several requests for the issue, and moving forward to August, the issue has never really been resolved and our electric bill has become outrageous. When we inquired about the ongoing issue the staff had drastically changed. They were rude, inconsiderate, and impatient. They made us feel as though we were an inconvenience to their day. They hung up the phone on us several times, they were having a conversation with others in the office while on our phone call, and during our phone calls we were put me on hold several times. In summary, the work order that was initially requested was never completed. In conclusion, we are helpless. Now it feels as though we are stuck in a place, where people who are supposed to help don't have the time. It is unimaginably too hot in San Antonio to have this issue ignored, and if this is the way these matters are handled, it is scary to imagine comitting 12 months of our money, trust, and expectations.
