Had a bit of a battery issue up in San Marcos, our battery completely failed on us after stopping for 10 minutes to grab some coffee. We still were under warranty w Pep Boys (where we bought the battery) but the nearest pep boys was 35 minutes south. Obviously not a fun way to start the day but we needed to tackle this problem before we could carry on.. so we got a jump start and travelled south to the Nacogdoches location where we met Sebastian. He greeted us right away and was very friendly! He helped us get the battery swapped out and replaced under warranty and apparently the model we had was no longer available so we ended up swapping out with a newer better version at a small expense to us! I'm really happy with the help we got from Sebastian, made all the stress of the morning kind of wash away. Thanks again y'all!

I called in a few days ago and asked for some information about a routine oil change and rotation of my tires for my car. The staff was very friendly over the phone and was willing to help me set up a time to go in, so that I would not have to wait too long. I've come here a few times and each time I am taken care of quickly and effectively. If you want good and honest work, this is the place to go! Great team

I had taken a van in for a transmission flush and oil change. After 4 hours I was told that I Would Need A New Transmission Because I Had Chipped Teeth On Some Wheels And I Did Not Not Have Much time. They provided me with an estimate of what the cost for new transmission would cost. I took it to my mechanic and he invited me to come to the back of the shop and look through the inspection plate and see that there was no damage and that the transmission was in great shape. A vacuum line was the main cause of loss of power and $140 later was driving out and all my power was back. BEWARE OF THIS SHOP. Years ago I also had this type of upsetting at the walzem location. This seams to be the way that they do buissness so beware. Anywhere but here.

A big DISAPPOINTMENT!!! So, actually..."No stars from me." I would recommend corporate re-evaluate the automotive service department. I brought my car in for a repair that apparently Pep Boys couldn't handle. A big concern was that the service tech kept giving me "different estimates throughout my visit." I needed to have my A/C serviced which required a part that they didn't have...so they tried to send me to another place to have the part made and return for the install. On this visit, I was charged about $40.00 for a service that they couldn't deliver. My mistake was thinking Pep Boys could perform this type of work. Fortunately, I was able to get my car repaired by a shop that specializes in A/C repair...for less $$$ than Pep Boys wanted to steal from me. I will not return to this store for any automotive service.

One very hot summer afternoon the AC goes out in my pregnant wife's car. I bring the car by and they look at the car and promise it will done by that night. After waiting till after they where closed they informed my it could not be finished due to a faulty part. The clerk was nice enough to give me a ride home. The next day I was promised it would be worked on first thing in the morning, but when I called at noon to check the status it had not been even worked on. They finally got it done that evening and the car was making a loose belt noise. Instead of just bringing it back I made an appointment at the end of the week and stressed time was an issue and to give me a good time. I took my car in to have the belt tightened and more than 24 hours later I was payng for a new belt that they said was brittle. Now I have my car and the suspension has failed. They didn't work on the suspension so I have no idea how they messed it up. All I know is it worked fine before they got it.

These people are not at all sympathic toward out-of -town emergency repairs; we're 250 miles from home. We called 2 hours ahead and told they to expect us. After a 50 mile tow the car was at the shop two hours before even beginning the diagnostics. Now we're at 3 hours - they should have told us BEFORE we were towed here.
