The Martin Luther King Jr. Academy offers classes in reading, writing, math, social studies and science for students in prekindergarten through grade eight. The academy features a choir room, cafeteria, playground, library, classrooms and science labs. It provides accelerated reading, special education and after-school programs. The Martin Luther King Jr. Academy s parent-teacher association provides parent volunteer programs that offer support for instructional programs.
