El Tequila Mexican Restaurant is the finest you can find on our side of town as far as my husband, Gaylon & I are concerned! Reasons: True, Authentic Mexican & Tex-Mex Food - Great Prices - Superb Cooks - Generous Portions - Friendly & Efficient Waitresses. Notes: (1) The Spanish rice is not that good. I always eat around it, because the rest on my plate is wonderful, and I can never eat everything anyway. The servings are more than adequate! (2) This is not the place to order Puffy Tacos! To me, they were like corned beef hash on pita bread. I could not eat them. However, they are very understanding, and if you do not like something, they will replace it with another dish or not charge you! The place that I order Puffy Tacos is El Tipico Mexican Restaurant, but it is too far from here to go there often. (3) I LOVE their Charo Beans & Pico de gallo. (4) Writing this review has gave me a huge appetite & my mouth is watering! Overall Rating: Great Food & Service at Competitive Prices!
