One small thing about the Blanco apartments is that they have what is called a single pipe heating system. What does this mean? When they put in the heating/cooling they cheaped it out in this public housing building, and you do not have individual controls on your heating and cooling. They set the thermostat and all the apartments are the same temperature. Surprise ! The building itself is nice, and well maintained though the neighborhood is poor. Rent is 30% of income - it is low cost housing for senior citizens.
