Does anyone know where Bea went? She no longer works at Avalon. I wanted to try her out since she's been getting rave reviews!

AWFUL. I paid $150 for a full foil and barely got the same amount of foils I get for a partial foil. It's been 2 weeks and I already need to get my hair redone because of how bad my roots are. I've NEVER been to an upscale salon that counts out the foils!! Ridiculous. Save your money and go to Sonterra Salon or Toni & Guy where their main concern is making sure your hair is done correctly not how many foils they've used.

After trying to get an ombre, my hair was a disaster. I read the reviews and decided to book an appointment with Bea, best decision ever!! She cut my hair and I loved it... After that, I don't think I'll ever go to another place. I highly recomend Her, she did an awesome job!

With all the good reviews for Bea, I tried to book a haircut with her a few times but she was always booked so I accepted another stylist who was late each time. I used the online booking option and finally found a time slot with Bea so I took it. Unfortunately, Avalon ended up booking someone else on my time slot. When I arrived on time to my appointment I heard Bea say that the other person was her client. They walked away and left me. The manager tried to work me in with someone else which would require another 15-20 minutes of waiting. This is completely unacceptable. I drove a very long distance in rush hour traffic only to walk out without a haircut and hit rush hour again. I am never going back.

What a great experience!!! at Avalon Hair Salon finally found a place with great atmosphere and professionalism, I can relax and enjoy a hair cut, coloring or hi lights, the hairdressers at this salon are superb. I will like to reiterate that in my experience with salons, Bea's highest degree of competence, surpasses my expectations, she is brilliant, friendly and just...GREAT, I love her!!!!

I decided to give this place a try after reading tons of good reviews. I haven't had any luck finding a stylist that I really liked since moving to San Antonio two years ago. I scheduled an appointment with Bea, and she did a great job! She listened very well, took her time, and made sure it was exactly what I wanted before I left. I was more than happy with my haircut. I reccomend scheduling with Bea. She is awesome!

One of the best things about this salon is that you can see ANY stylist and expect to have exactly what you are asking for! I have seen multiple stylists here and I am glad to say I feel comfortable with all of them! My favorites are Rachel and Sarahlynn. They are always recommending new techniques and styles and they really care about your hair. They listen and don't just do whatever they want. My hair always comes out shiny and beautiful and I get compliments daily! WHAT WOULD I DO WITHOUT THEM!?!?

Another great thing about this salon is the Management---Brittany is always making sure every client is taken care of and she is SO hilarious!!! I hope this salon will always be around because if not, I will freak out!

I always bring my friends who are in need of a haircut/hairdo to this salon. I've always spoken so highly of Avalon because of all the services they provide. I'm always offered a beverage of choice and treated with dignity and respect by the staff. The customers at this establishment are always pleasant. Booking an appointment is so easy. I come here for Denise because I've established a loyal relationship with her. She is very knowledgeable and I have never left disappointed. My best friend who is in the military came to Denise with damaged and dry hair. With Denise's recommendations, my best friend was extremely satisfied with her now shiny and healthy looking do. As for myself, Denise always does a great cut and color, she listens- and I trust her. Most of all, she's very knowledgeable. I came in with a dry scalp, she treated my hair, and gave me invaluable tips... I woke up this morning with a calm/moisturized scalp, YAYYY!!!

Bottom line, Avalon Salon is great. Denise is great, the manager has consistently been welcoming of customers, and the staff have always been wonderful.

Great experience everytime I'm there. Rosa is a expert hair stylist and a warm and wonderful person to talk to. Hey Rosa, was that guy that was there today single? :-)

We all know what it is like to go to a sytlist hoping this one will know what they are doing only coming out worse than when you went in. Not any longer! Avalon is a professional salon with excellent customer service. You can book your appointment on-line to adjust to your own schedule as well! Bea was my stylists' and "professional stylist" describes her best Finally, a stylists who really listens, takes the time to fully assess your hair, then uses her excellent skills resulting in another relieved, relaxed and grateful client for years to come. my stylist; first cut and she got it right!.

I had never used the Paul Mitchel line before my stylist introduced it to me. Thanks to Avalon (and Paul Mitchel) my hair has never looked and felt so great.

I love the owner, Billy. He is always around to get you a cup of coffee or water while magic is being done to you! I love Avalon and I love Bea!

My appointment was with Kourtney and she did a fantastic job. She took her time and cut my hair exactly as I wanted. I highly recommend this salon to anyone and I will definitely be going back!
