MHTN Architects is a full-service firm with emphasis on architecture, interior design and landscape architecture. It operates specialty studios under a single name. Corporate offices for MHTN are located in downtown Salt Lake City. The firm s practice areas include commercial, government, education and parking structures. It specializes in mixed-use projects, resort properties, office buildings, student unions, justice facilities and retail stores. MHTN Architects employs more than 100, including licensed architects, interns, specialists, designers and estimators. Founded as Ashton & Evans Architects by Raymond Ashton and Raymond Evans, the firm was renamed to Montmorency, Hayes and Talbot Architects. In 1981, the firm condensed the name to MHT Architects and became MHTN Architects following a merger in 1992.
