Provided by YP.comThis is a response to Amanda S. This is Kid Care Co in Salt Lake City . We have searched our records and we have no record of a parent or child with this name. Also, we have not lost any children in our center . We believe this review is not ment towards our center. Our teachers are well trained. Our center is partnered with Headstart and other government grants. We have government officials coming in and out of our building checking on our teachers everyday. Our center has a high demand for care in our infant/toddler classes.

Provided by YP.comThis is in response to Amanda S. comment. We have searched our records and cannot find any record of this parents name, further more, we are proud to say that we have not lost any of our enrolled children in the past months. Our staff is very loving and enjoys their job as caregivers. I am certain this comment was either made up or made for another center. Our center is very well maintained and our parents and children are very happy.

Provided by YP.comEvery parent who reads the reviews has to be really skeptical. I was thrilled to put my baby in that facility. Specially from all the positive reviews, but, after a while I started seeing things I didn't like. When I went to the director she would say, "it is normal"? that's all she had to say. Some of the teachers look like they don't want to be there. I feel sometimes as if they are herding sheep. If they are there, they are supposed to be active with them all of the time, playing, teaching, etc.. Not just sitting, which I found they were doing most of the time. There is also a big gap in communication that needs to be fixed. At first I thought the post on "conscious mom" was exaggerating but I may now think she's right. The right thing to do of kidcare co would have been to offer her an apology and REALLY mean it and try not to let it happen again. Because, that obviously was lack of communication on their part. Instead of trying to defend itself because one post tainted their 5 star rating. It maybe that the bad teachers need to be removed or their needs to be better communication because all else is good. It is a clean place, which you rarely find. To sum it all up, My baby isn't there anymore but remember their teachers can make or break you.

Provided by YP.comOur son has been at KKC since he was 4 months old. The first, more convenient daycare we chose, lasted for less than a month. A co-worker suggested KKC because it was near our office and conveniently located right off of the freeway. My son is now 19+ months old and we are having to take him out of KKC due to him having a severe peanut allergy. It has been one of the hardest decisions my husband and I have had to make. KKC has been part of our son's extended family and they have cared for him as such. He has always been eager to join his teachers and friends, and there are days that he isn't ready to leave. We tried desperately to find a daycare option that lived up to KKC and that could accommodate our needs. To no avail, as I am now leaving my position to stay home with him. KKS's facility appeared much cleaner and more equipped than other daycare settings we visited. They appear to have a close knit group of employees and director(s) who are easy to work with and professional. They did everything they could do accommodate our son's eating restrictions while he was was there, but unfortunately for us, they are not a nut-free facility. Our son is bright, happy, inquisitive and social, and we credit KKC for helping him grow. Overall we have been very pleased with our experience and the care of our little boy and would like to see more daycares adhere to this standard.

Provided by YPmobileMy older Kids (8 and 7) have been in this daycare since they were babies they have learned so much and have made many friends. The owner, directors and all the teachers go above and beyond for all the kids that go there. I just had another baby and when its time for me to go back to work he will also be going to Kid care co. I know they will take great care of him just like they took great care of my older two kids! Thank you ladies for the great job you all do!

Provided by YP.comI looked at about 9 different daycares in my search for child care. Once I walked into Kid Care Co. I knew the search was over. First and foremost I was SUPER IMPRESSED with the security of their building and the fact that it was so clean.. But what really sold me was the atmosphere. The whole center just gives off a feeling of love and nuturing. My son loves it there. I really like his teachers, they are amazing. They always take the time to tell me how his day was. I would deffinitely recommend this daycare.

Provided by YP.comI would tell her they are great with my children. I have two children there and they have there own class room by ages but for some activities they let them gather together to be productive in a positive surroundings, and learning together. Since i work all day, and with one in school and the other in daycare they still are invovled with eachother when i have to be away supporting the family.

Provided by YP.comThe daycare is very clean and all of the employees are very friendly. I LOVE my sons teacher she is absolutely AMAZING. She loves my son and my son loves her she always does great activities with the class and is so loving. My son never cries when I leave him at daycare which puts me at ease knowing that I am leaving him somewhere where they will love and care for him like I would if I were at home with him. My son loves the singing times they have and the playground. I love how they have a different playground for the younger children. They always have an employee cleaning the building which is so nice. The teachers always keep me informed and they include the parents in the activities. Recently they had a Halloween parade where all the children dressed up and all the parents were invited. Its nice to be included in activities like this. I am a first time parent and was very hesitant in putting my child in daycare but I love this place and any future children of mine will also go to Kid Care.

Provided by YP.comThis is in response to the "conscious parent" review. The little girl was dropped of in our care at 9:30 am by dad, he had left enough milk for only one bottle for the whole day. Dad did say that she should be ready for her bottle in an hour. She wasn't fussy, so the teacher didn't give her the bottle. She was offered snack crackers throughout the day and did eat them. We served lunch at 11 am, she refused to eat that, the teachers then offered her baby food which she also refused to eat. The teacher then offered her her milk which she also refused, probably because she didn't have her own bottle. The teacher offered her milk in a new bottle that we had on hand. When mom called at approximately 1 pm she was asleep and had been since 11:30am. Mom said she would come nurse her, she ended up taking her home at 2:09 pm. I am having a hard time finding the 8 hours she was supposedly in our care without food. Parents post their own comments and feelings about us, no one is told what to say.

Provided by YP.comMy children, 10 mths and 4 yrs, spent one month at Kid Care Company. I'll admit, I am definitely NOT a conventional parent. In most cases I never would have taken them to this type of dacare. However, I was willing to give this place a chance because of all the wonderful ratings it has gotten. I have several gripes that I have attempted to fit in this review, but I have gone over the character limit several times.
The last straw was the day they let my daughter go eight strait hours without food. My husband dropped her off at 9:00 AM, the last time she nursed was 6:00 AM when I left for work. He specifically told her caregiver that she would need to eat within the hour. Apparently, she wasn't even given anything until lunch time two hours later. My daughter refused the lunch she was offered, then refused the bottle she was offered. She is very particular about the nipples she uses and they weren't offering her her bottle. THREE more hours go by and she still hadn't eaten. At this time I was at work and called to check in on her. The staff member who answered the phone said "oh yes, everything is fine". Remembering the conversation the director and I had earlier in the month, I asked if she had plenty of milk. I was then told that she hadn't eaten anything the whole day. If I had just accepted the worker's statement that all was well, I would never have known. I immediately left work and brought my children home. My poor little girl nursed like she never had before. No, I absolutely do not recommend you take your children to this center and you better believe I am going to pursue my rights on this one.

Provided by YP.comMy baby started at Kid Care in May 2009 when she was eleven months old. Neighbors had their four boys at Kid Care and recommended the center when another neighbor could no longer watch our daughter. The facility is very clean and cheerful and the staff is amazing! Shirley, the music teacher is a real jewel. My daughter still struggles with drop-off, but the staff has really made an effort to make it easier for her (and us) and now there are times when we pick her up that she doesn’t want to leave! Denise Montgomery, the center’s owner, is especially focused on staff education and continually upgrades the facility and equipment. She and the center’s directors know the kids individually, and communicate very well with us, as do all the teachers we’ve had. While I would prefer not to work and to be with my little girl full time, I am grateful such a wonderful place is available to us.

Provided by YP.comKid Care Co has been taking care of my daughter for over three years now. They are the best and I have driven from as far away as Centerville to keep my daughter there. They are safe, clean, friendly and caring. I recommend them to everyone I know that has kids. Fenced in playgrounds that are age appropriate and a secure entrance helps ensure safety. Love Kid Care Co!!!

Provided by YP.comI toured several daycare facilities...I stopped looking once I found Kid Care Co.
I've had my oldest son enrolled in Kid Care since he was 9 months old, he's now 4. He's enjoyed his teachers, the lessons and activities this entire time..and my youngest son is following right behind him; enjoying the same quality of care!
Kid Care is above the rest for a few reasons.Specifically I love the CLEAN, bright and upbeat atmosphere. I can't keep my household of only two kids nearly as clean as they keep their facility that's filled with kids!
I also like the fact that the classrooms all have windows or half-doors...they're not hiding anything here! I've dropped by unannounced several times at random times during the week to check-up on my kids and their activities and I've never been disappointed.
The teachers are great... didn't even flinch when I told them my son had special dietary needs. The teachers are attentive and quick to point out inconsistencies or unusual behavior ("he's not been going down for nap as early/easy as he has been"), which leads me to believe they know my kids well and are concerned for their well-being.
I am grateful to the staff, including the Owner for providing such a great place for my children to spend their days!

Provided by YP.comMy daughter has been going to Kid Care for about 6months and absolutly loves it. She comes home talking about her teachers and classmates all the time. The staff is very friendly and professional. I am glad I chose Kid Care. I can go to work and not have to worry about her well being. She has learned so much, and made so many friends. I also love that when she starts kindergarten I don't have to worry about having to leave work to get her to and from school.

Provided by YP.comMy 5 year old son has been in Kid Care since 2008. I was worried about his communication skills and decided he needed to make friends & do activities with others. I was refered to them thru a family member. I immediately noticed improvement. He learned to share and communicate better. In 2009 I had my daughter start going as well. I love that they provide transportation to and from school & the ladies working there are fantastic in keeping me updated in my childrens inprovements. They are always noticing different things in my kids. By far the best daycare out there. I recently moved and don't mind traveling a bit as long as my kids are happy & well taken care of.
