Intermountain Heart Center is a premier cardiology practice in the Salt Lake City area providing comprehensive cardiovascular care. We believe in patient empowerment, the necessity of thoughtful consideration, the importance of patient insight and understanding, natural therapy when appropriate, evidence based evaluation and management, and clear communication. A major focus of our practice is prevention through lifestyle modification. We specialize in the diagnosis and medical management of most cardiovascular and related conditions from the simple to complex; benign to serious. Our areas of expertise include evaluation of cardiac-related symptoms and the medical diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, all forms of arrhythmia's, valve disease, structural heart disease, congenital heart disease, pulmonary hypertension, peripheral and carotid disease, and device management (pacemakers and defibrillators). We provide echo (regular, contrast enhanced, and bubble), stress echo, stress nuclear (exercise and pharmacologic), carotid ultrasound, abdominal abdominal aortic aneurysm ultrasound, and ABI services in the office. We are accredited by ICANL and ICAEL. As an independent practice, we are able to coordinate hospital services according to patient preference. We have relationships with all the regional major medical centers to provide in-patient services and procedures when necessary. We take most insurance plans. We do not participate with: Select Health Valuecare and Community Health, Humana HMO X, PCN. This list may be incomplete and is subject to change. HORRIBLE experience. I have never been more disappointed in a medical situation! I have called OVER 10 times regarding my bill, recieved one call back while I was working and have heard nothing since. I have called everyday and the billing department has "left for the day", or "won't be in the office today" and when I ask when she will ACTUALLY be in the office they say oh probably tomorrow. They used the excuse that the voice mailbox is broken but I have left a message with the receptionist every single time I have called. This place has the worst customer service that I have ever experienced and I think I deserve an explaination to my bill, and why I am even beings charged when I NEVER even saw a doctor and yet I have charges from two different doctors. I would not recommend this place to anyone and will be sharing my experience with others
