Diamond Rental is one of the Mountain West s premier providers of rental solutions. From hand tools for a simple backyard projects to backhoes and reach forklifts on a large job site; from the tables and chairs at a simple backyard party to the complex tents and structures of a large outdoor events, Diamond Rental provides customers with solutions. Founded in 1979, the company was established as an equipment-rental store in Salt Lake City. Diamond Rental grew to more than five tool and equipment stores in the Salt Lake City area and one party, tent and event rental location, also in Salt Lake City. In 2000, Diamond Rental was acquired by Rubicon Ventures. The principals of Rubicon assumed management of Diamond Rental and worked with the Diamond Rental team to move the company forward on a more aggressive trajectory. Diamond Rental added four tool and equipment rental locations, stretching the company s reach outside Salt Lake City into the Ogden, ParkCity and Tooele, Utah, markets.
