love this place

I have my 2 boys there, 19 months and almost 3 yrs old. The place is so open and clean. I love the one room design, as my boys are so bonded, they still feel connected. They have even potty trained my older boy. While he is there he is almost completely potty trained although we are still working on this at home. The staff really love the kids and it shows. My kids love them as well and love to be handed to them during drop offs. They do crafts, make friends, play outside, and are very accommodating, even letting me bring almond milk for my kids. Their location is so convenient. I couldn't ask for anything more

My son went to Devlin's from infant until he was about 18 months old. Leaving was tough. On his last day, his teachers (both current and past) threw him a party, made him a collage of pictures and all signed the back with notes saying how much they love him and hope the best for him. The building itself is older, kind of dark inside, but their playground for the toddlers and the older kids is great. My little boy learned lots of Spanish while he was there, too, which we loved. When he would miss days out sick, Rayne, the director, would call and see how he was doing and ask if there was anything that she could do for us. All of the teachers knew my son well and he loved going there. I loved all of his teachers because I could tell how much they loved him. They were great for us!

Comfort

I was very cautious when looking into daycare for my daughter. My husband and I went through more than most could handle to get her here. I called them a lot before even taking her. They have been patient and understanding so far. They are fine with me or my husband popping in, calling, basically doing whatever WE need to feel comfortable. Time is very telling, but so far I am happy to have chosen them to care for our most cherished gift. Also, think this over. You have to "schedule" to visit most daycares. Fishy to me... Do they need that time to make sure everyone's on their best behavior???? Devlin's NEVER once asked me to make arrangements. They told me to stop by whenever it was convenient for ME.

Love Devlins

My son has been going to Devlin's on and off for his whole life. All the teachers know him by name and they are very caring towards him. I am indebted to the ladies there for the rest of my life... Without them my son would never have been potty trained, they taught him to tie his shoes, and the majority all of the early life lessons, because I am a single mother and i have to work. Thank you Devlin's, I appreciate all the love and care you have put into my son!

This place needs help

We picked Devlin's because it was conveniently located not far from our house. Our neighbors daughter went there and seemed to be happy. When my grandson first started going he was in with the younger children and was very happy. When he was moved over to the pre-school things changed. When asking about his day I would get one word answers. The final day he attended I had dropped him off in the morning. As soon as we were in the door it was like someone had flipped a switch, he was in survival mode. He tuned out and didn't hear anyone talking to him. This bothered me so much that 3 hours later I picked him up. When I walked out onto the playground I found the children playing in cardboard boxes and their teacher on her cell phone. She looked scared when she saw me. I had to physically go up and touch my grandson to get his attention. The look I got from him was: thank god you're here. He did not go back.
