Delta Fire Systems was formed in 1963 by two fire protection engineers. The company has grown to be one of the largest fire protection contractors in the Intermountain area. The company is well versed in the standard wet pipe and dry pipe sprinkler systems, as well as a leader in the installation of pre-action, foam, deluge, ultra high-speed, carbon dioxide and other specialty systems. Delta has a large inspection and service department that runs fully equipped, radio-dispatched vans on 24-hour call. It handles all jobs from $50 to several million dollars. The company is a member of the National Fire Protection Association and employs approximately 100 people. Delta is based in Salt Lake City, and has a branch office in Reno, Nev. It conducts business throughout the western portion of the United States.
