Located in Salisbury, N.C., Hanford Dole Elementary School offers academic classes to more than 550 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school offers academic programs in reading, mathematics, spelling, language, social studies, science, art, writing and speech. Hanford Dole Elementary School also offers special activities and programs, such as English Language Learners, early intervention programs, student council activities, character education and media festivals. The school has a team of paraprofessionals and offers accelerated reader programs. Hanford Dole Elementary School offers special education for students with autism, specific learning disabilities, emotional behavioral disorders and speech impairments. Hanford Dole Elementary School is a part of the Rowan-Salisbury School System.
