Stepping Stones Learning Academy was originally approved by the Maryland Department of Education and Office of Child Care to teach kindergarten and first grade in 1999. In the succeeding years, Stepping Stones has expanded its grade offerings, and now provides instruction for pre-k (four year olds) through twelfth. While Stepping Stones is the youngest private school in the Salisbury area, SSLA is continuously growing and expanding program offerings to ensure SSLA students are academically competitive.

This facility is run down. The staff does not acknowledge parents nor do they verify who is picking up students. That is a very unsafe practice. Staff caused a student to pee on herself because they failed to help undo her romper then replaced clothes without and underwear and shoes, sent her out to play barefoot, and did not notify her parents of the accident. DEFINITELY NOT worth the money. Send your kids anywhere else.
