Great attorney. I hired him to help me with speeding ticket and got it dismissed. Easy to work with and agressive in court... highly recommended!!

Did not follow up, too worried about the boys club of lawyers in Salem. Uses food family name to get by. Keep looking.

The earlier reviews must be from someone on the other side of the courtroom from Jeff Dorsey. He represented me, and was smart and agressive! I could not have asked for more... widely known as one of the best lawyers in town.

I don't know how you could find a better attorney. He is kind, knowledgable, and reasonable with fees. I have used his services twice, and tell everyone I know to use him. He is great in court, and gets great results.

This guy is the worst attorney that I have ever dealt with. Claims to give good prices, but then does absolutly nothing for you!!!!! He is lazy, and you can never get in touch with him! he will take a small sum of money, tell you he will take care of the case. Then come to find out, he has never even picked up the phone to take care of anything, then calls you and tells you he needs more money! what a sleez bag. if you want to throw your money away, give it to me, not him!

Mr. Dorsey is in fact a pseudo-attorney. He hides behind low "set" fees, a good location, and his family's otherwise respectable name, then proceeds to let his client's opponent's attorney perform all the real work in a case, making their fees astronomical and significantly delaying legal processes that could be completed in a third of the time, freeing up valuable time and resources in the legal system, to the detriment of his client. He routinely ignores requests from colleagues and "sits" on important paperwork. He has earned a reputation in the legal community for being slovenly and disorganized. In addition, he and his staff lie to both clients and opposing attorneys to obscure facts and to delay cases. Jeffrey Dorsey is nothing more than a "good ole boy" with a big title and a small mind, and after my experience with him, it is my opinion that he is a blight on the legal profession and should be disbarred.
