Walker Middle School is an educational institution that is a part of Salem-Keizer Public Schools, which serves more than 40,140 students through various elementary, middle and high schools. The school educates over 1,000 students in grades six through eight. It provides general academic and gifted and talented education programs. Walker Middle School offers a range of sports activities that includes cross country, wrestling and volleyball. The school publishes a newsletter, Walker Lynx, which carries updates on various social and educational programs. It operates a parent club and organizes geography bee competitions.
