Founded in 1909, the United Methodist Retirement Center is a nonprofit organization that serves senior citizens from low-income families. It maintains several apartments and offers a range of accommodation services. The center also administers a meal program. The United Methodist Retirement Center operates the Jason Lee Manor, which is a nonprofit retirement facility that features telephones, televisions, air conditioners and emergency response systems. The retirement facility provides health care, housekeeping, parking and laundry services. The United Methodist Retirement Center maintains the Willson House Residential Care Facility, which offers assistance with various daily living activities. In addition, the retirement center operates a child development center that serves children between the ages of 2 and 5.
