The Engineering Division is governed by the City of Salem in Oregon. The division offers design, drafting and surveying services. It provides contract document preparation and permit issuance services. The division offers project, consultant and construction management solutions. The Engineering Division also reviews tasks pertaining to land subdivision, easement and warranty deed documents. The division s administration unit responds to general public inquiries. Its engineering technical services program encompasses records, surveys and construction inspections. In addition, the division maintains the databases of public infrastructure overlaying controlled land parcels and photo map bases. The Engineering Division provides boundary and topographic surveys in collaboration with public works department.
