Great service and food at prices that remind me of twenty years ago. I went here for lunch with a business associate and the two of us ate well for around $5 bucks each. There was plenty of food, so there was extra for bringing home for late night snack. No wonder they were so busy. It was 1:30 and they still had most of the tables full. Amazing compared to other restaurants that are more quiet than the local library this time of day.
My husband & I, along with another couple, dine at Lum-Yuens regularly. Large portions, low prices, quick & efficient service by extrememly friendly waitresses, are just a few of the reasons we keep going back. But the main reason is the perfect food! For the vegetarian, their Sweet & Sour Tofu is to die for!
I've eaten here years. Always large and delicious portions. The servers are quick, friendly and efficient. Check 'em out. You'll be glad you did.

Fast great food good value. I recomend there BBQ pork there is none better!
I have been here several times, both with family and colleagues...in large and small groups, and they have always accommodated us with good service, and many tasty favorites. It is the favorite restaurant of my grandchildren (10 through 18), who have started to become critics in their own right. Good place to go for a special family event!
Lum Yuens always serves delicious Chinese food. It is one of the most popular places to eat in Salem. Prices are modest and service is good. The food is ALWAYS exceptional!
If you have a group, you can call to make special arrangements for the banquet room.
Tip: try the barbeque pork.

This restaurant is an institution in Salem. Food is great and service is exceptional. Prices are competitive and it is crowded every night. Great place for a family dinner or a working lunch.
